McCain did do some pretty bad campaigning in the last few weeks of the election. He didn't spend a lot of time in the changing state of VA and their huge 13 electoral votes; well he did send his mother...... and he sent Sarah Palin to a couple places but nothing big, that was pretty stupid
I think it is that Obama won because he changed the pure red states like Ohio and Virginia to democratic states. He was worried about his race not McCain's. One third to one half of Americans are racist and Obama still won. Obama deserved this presidency and will serve America proud.
I was watching the percentages last night for VA and it was at 49% for Obama and 50% for McCain at one point and then vice versa and then Obama was 51% and McCain was I think 49%? i'm not sure what it ended up being but he still made these states change color.
Thats the problem with america if any white person says anything even closely related to skin color it is racist. if an African American would say anything about his/her skin color nobody cares. That is why Obama did not make a big deal about his skin color, because it is an immature thing to quarrel about

And of course Obama isnt gonna talk about his skin color, he doesnt care what color he is and obviously he knows some people are so he isnt going to mention it to make people angry and to remember their hatred for colored people. Some people ARE DUMB.
Really John you don't think race had anything to do with the candidates campaign McCain tried to ride with the race thing and thought with the race he didn't have to campaign as much so he didn't try as hard.
i think McCain lost it because he was so unorganized and and the republican party was some what against palin because they called her a diva which turned a lot of peoples heads

1)Obama ran a masterful campaign, and McCain...well...didn't.
2)This election is a mandate on George Bush.
3)McCain might have lost the election the moment he told America that the "fundamentals of our economy are strong".
