America has it's first African American president in its history. Also, the first African American leader from the entire "western" world. History was made right before your eyes. What do you think?

Possible Election Nightmare

It appears as though Obama is clearly going to win the popular vote. However, as we all know, the popular vote doesn't directly elect the president. What do you think would happen if Obama won the popular vote by something like 53-47% but McCain won in the electoral college? Imagine...Obama winning by 5-6 million total votes but still losing!!! Obviously if you're a McCain supporter you would be okay with that!

Would there be riots in the streets of cities? Would we be changing the constitution to get rid of the electoral college? Imagine the TV coverage of that!!!

Who are you supporting for president and why...

Obama jumping the gun...and Biden being Biden

There was a published report that said Obama has already begun his inaugural speech and has also begun his transition plans for when he needs to get ready to take over as President of the U.S.

Does it bother you that he may be doing this a bit early? Or is it just a sign of being prepared for anything?

Also...Joe Biden gave a TV interview this weekend in Florida. While asked a question he kind of went off a bit. (Granted the reporter asked him if Obama was a Marxist (communist)...and that's probably not the best question in the world). He asked the reported if she was serious or if it was a joke. Good old Biden...always there with something to talk about. Although if you watch the interview, you'll notice the obvious bias.

McCain campaign...fighting themselves???

There seems to possibly be some friction between Palin and McCain's aides. I mean...someone actually called her a diva! (They really did!!!)

What do you think?...Is this the sign of a crumbling campaign that is destined for defeat? Or is it a campaign that still has the fighting spirit and will make this a close election next Tuesday?

The Most Important Person

It appears right now that Sarah Palin might just be the most important person in this presidential race. The gap between people loving her and hating her seems to be growing. In a poll conducted by NBC News...she is the reason why over 40% of people who will vote for Obama will not vote for McCain!

So what do you think about her? Do you like her?

Clothes

So...the story goes like this...

Sarah Palin is chosen as the Republican VP candidate. Good move for the Republicans because she is seen as a regular person with regular person values. I totally get it.

However the story comes out today that she (actually the Republican party) spent $150,000 on clothes for her to wear. That includes $75,000 at one store!! They spent more on her clothes than I make in over 4 years!!

Do you think this is a problem, or are people making too big a deal over it?

We've been talking about how it's been a rough few weeks for the McCain campaign...however, on Monday (10/20) Joe Biden (VP nominee w/Obama) made some questionable comments. He said basically if Barack is elected, there will by an international crisis in the first 6 months of his administration. What kind or crisis...terrorist attack, another war....what do you mean Joe!!!!!

Furthermore...why would he say something like that. Even if he meant it that way or not!!!! Are both campaigns trying to lose!!!!!!
